Selon Cécile Plateaux "Madeleine Bazire vivait à Sarcelles au 11 ème étage d'un immeuble. Des Osmies nidifiaient sur son balcon. C'était fascinant de voir les femelles rentrer au nid barbouillées de pollen dans ce décor hérissé de toitures. Je pensais au vol d'orientation qui devait être plutôt compliqué. Nous avons passé une journée chez Madeleine voici une dizaine d'années. Puis nous lui avons téléphoné, puis il n'y a plus eu de réponse...Cela date d'environ 5 ou 6 ans." (23 juillet 2019)
